The Art of Over-doing-it!

 For some reason, I continue to think that I am younger than I am. It's hard to admit that you're "getting up there," but indeed I am. This point became abundantly obvious to me a week ago when some warm weather blew in. I suppose it began a bit before that back in January when I "threw caution to the wind!" and twisted my knee. The knee typically is fine...unless...  My yard needed some sprucing up after a cold winter. I wanted to bring out some patio furniture so that I could dine "al fresco." Weeds were making their presence known ubiquitously. Holes that had been dug during the winter by my beloved Pyrenees/Lab needed to be filled. I did quite a bit of work over the course of six or seven hours. Then, as I tried to move my body up from a weed digging moment, the old girl showed me that she had had enough!  I hobbled to one of the chairs I had placed on the patio and knew the day was done. The old twisted knee had begun to act up, the lower back...
